To swiftly and effectively respond to and handle potential fire accidents at the company, enhance all employees' safety awareness, and improve their skills in operating firefighting equipment, Hubei Enoray Biopharmaceutical Co., Ltd. conducted a comprehensive emergency drill on the morning of June 23, 2022, in accordance with the annual work plan for safe production.

This exercise was led and organized by the Safety Management Department. Attending the exercise were Tan Hongbing, Acting General Manager of the company, and Zhu Jinfeng, the leader in charge of safety. A total of 65 personnel from various departments across the company participated in the operational drills, along with over 80 observers. The exercise simulated a fire accident, with a primary focus on extinguishing incipient fires. The key drill activities included firefighting using oil drums and laying out fire hoses to hit targets.

At 9 a.m., all participating personnel assembled in the square southwest of the office building and stood by in readiness. After the exercise command was issued, each participant, organized by their respective departments and under the guidance of their department heads, proceeded sequentially and in an orderly manner to carry out the designated exercise scenarios. In the oil drum fire-extinguishing scenario, participants calmly used fire extinguishers to swiftly put out the raging flames. In the fire hose deployment scenario, participants clearly divided tasks, quickly connecting fire hydrants, hoses, and nozzles, and then successfully directed water jets toward the target.

With the strong support of company leaders and all departments, as well as the enthusiastic participation of employees, this drill was a complete success. All scheduled drill activities were carried out smoothly and in an orderly manner within the predetermined timeframe. After the drill concluded, company leaders expressed their appreciation for the exercise while also pointing out areas for improvement. They encouraged everyone to step up their regular training, focusing on the “four understandings and four capabilities” in fire safety. In particular, they emphasized the importance of thoroughly understanding the fire hazards associated with one’s own job position and mastering preventive measures, as well as being proficient in using firefighting equipment to extinguish incipient fires.

This drill served as a test of employees’ skills in using fire-fighting equipment, as well as on-site training to enhance their practical knowledge of fire-fighting gear. Through this drill, employees’ ability to handle emergency situations has been further improved.
